The Evolution of Access: Empowering You to Decode the SMP Archives

At the heart of AI & Her is a simple formula: Artificial Intelligence + Human Ambition.

For several months, I have used this partnership to document St. Mary Parish Council meetings, providing AI-assisted recaps to help the public navigate hours of complex local government debate.

However, AI is a powerful collaborator, but it is not infallible. To ensure that only “truth and fact” are presented under my brand, I personally vet and fact-check every recap. As my professional commitments have grown, I can no longer dedicate the necessary time to that rigorous process. Therefore, I am shifting my focus from producing the summaries to providing the raw data and the tools you need to analyze it yourself.

The Archive Is Yours

I have no intention of stopping the preservation of our local governance & politics. I will continue to download and archive the council’s Facebook Live broadcasts to the AI & Her YouTube Channel. These records will remain available to the public indefinitely.

Your Toolkit for Transparency

Transparency shouldn’t depend on a single source. You have the same power at your fingertips that I use. Here is how you can use AI to stay informed for free:

  1. Get a Google Account: To use these tools, you just need a standard Google/Gmail account. If you don’t have one, you can create a Google account here.
  2. Access the Video: Go to my YouTube page and copy the link to the Council Meeting you want to research.
  3. Use NotebookLM: This is a revolutionary tool that acts as a personal research assistant. Simply go to NotebookLM.google.com, create a new notebook, and “Add Source” by pasting the YouTube link.

Once the video is uploaded to NotebookLM, you can ask specific questions like:

  • “What were the arguments against the solar moratorium?”
  • “Summarize the $500,000 drainage fund debate.”
  • “List the key votes from the January 14th meeting.”

Why This Matters

My intent has never been to influence public opinion, but to ensure that information is accessible. Access is the key to understanding, and understanding is the foundation of a healthy community.
